Tools for Individualizing Curriculum
Software with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) features facilitates individualization of learning materials and experiences for maximum inclusion and teaching effectiveness. This section discusses how teachers can use software available today to customize learning.
- UDL Features in Existing Software
In this section we provide examples of UDL features in existing software, with tips for how to use these features to customize instruction for students with varied learning needs.
- Using Supported Learning Software
Programs we are calling "supported learning software" include software tools such as word processors, electronic book templates, and supported readers, with universal design features built in.
- Using Universally Designed Features of Software to Customize Learning
In this section we answer that question by providing examples of UD features in existing software, with tips for how to use these features to customize instruction for students with varied learning needs.
