Interview Notes (April 2003)

On April 10, 2003 we spoke with Marilyn Pearson, Assistant Director of Special Education.

  • No state mandate, no administrative rule or statute requiring publishers to provide files
  • If a district needs a book in an alternative format, they contact the publishers
  • There is a state library and a state school for the deaf and blind. Districts might be able to informally borrow books from these sources
