Case Stories for Educators

Review our Case Stories that respond to critical dilemmas within general education classrooms. Each case pertains to access to the general education curriculum and how best to meet the needs of all learners, including those with disabilities.

  • Reading Challenges in Social Studies
    Mrs. Jones' dilemma is how to help all her fourth grade students achieve the social studies lesson goals given the short time period and the widely diverse skills levels of students.
  • Engaging High School Students in Writing
    Mr. Garcia's dilemma is how to engage his high school English students in the writing process and in applying the grammar and usage skills they have been learning.
  • Teaching Probability in Middle School
    Ms. Randall's dilemma is how to plan one lesson to help her students understand the relationship between theoretical and experimental probability.
