Jeremy Price has a career interest in issues of educational equity, the role of technology in the learning process, and bridging informal and formal learning experiences. As a research associate at CAST, Mr. Price is currently utilizing his educational interests in the development of Universal Design for Learning guidelines, toolkits, and case stories for teachers.

Before joining CAST in 2003, Mr. Price applied his expertise in technology, media, and Web development in a variety of educational settings, most recently at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. As the Education Technology Coordinator at the Museum, he designed and developed online interactive educational activities based on contemporary learning theories. He created and developed online and computer-based educational programs bridging informal learning goals and California curriculum standards, and integrated technology-based activities into existing Museum education programs.

Mr. Price founded and developed an award-winning educational Web site for children, Zappazoom.com. As the technology and medial specialist for the Temple Emanuel Religious School in Beverly Hills, he developed media- and computer-based curricula and worked with students in grades 3-7 to utilize the Internet and computers for learning and exploration. In his role as Coordinator for Interactive Learning Activities of the CDGolem Project at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mr. Price developed online educational activities for use by youth worldwide.

Mr. Price holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Brandeis University and an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
